FOOD ART WEEK, COMBINING FOOD AND ART TO PROMOTE POSITIVE CHANGE
 

The Food Art Week, curated by Tainá GuedesEntretempo Kitchen Gallery focus on a wide range of contemporary art, dining experiences and educational program. There will be always a central art exhibition alongside performances, dining experiences, workshops, discussions, and much more. Next year’s theme “Sugar” approaches topics such as historical, social-political-environmental impact of sugar production and consumption, as well in our health, in people's and animal's lives.

Food Art Week is initiating important conversations about contemporary issues using the power of art and sensory experiences with food. Our selected artists, activists, filmmakers, chefs and scientists will present diverse perspectives which ask the viewer to reimagine a different and better world. 

Some of the artists, chefs and collaborators that will cook, create and exhibit at the FAW 2018 are Alfons Koller, Céline Pelcé, Domenico Pugliese, Kathrin Kotchitzki, Lenara Verle, Iara and Tainá Guedes, Stephan Hentschel, Uli Westphal, and many others.

Founder of the FAW is Tainá Guedes/ Entretempo Kitchen Gallery, an interdisciplinary art space in Berlin, which researches and explores food in a cultural and social context.
